A crane is a map object, some consisting of a rotatable arm and a hook to lift up cars.
Contents
GTA III
The crusher and military cranes are integral to gameplay, having been used in several missions and odd jobs. The game scans through the world for specific models to turn into cranes. The following coordinates are based on their item placement in the world. By default, cranes idly rotate back and forth. All crane data is saved in block 6 of the save file.

Vice City
Cranes serve no practical purpose and are only there for aesthetics, idly rotating back and forth. Similar to GTA III, the game scans through the world for specific models to turn into cranes. The following coordinates are based on their item placement in the world. All cranes are located in Viceport. All crane data is saved in block 7 of the save file.
