Bink is a proprietary video format (extension .bik
) developed by RAD Game Tools, which is primarily designed and used for storing cutscene videos in computer and video games.
Use in Grand Theft Auto IV
GTA4 uses this format for its ingame television programming, which was expanded in GTA V for films and other video clips. These files are located in the directory Grand Theft Auto IV\Movies
folder.
