KEd is an extended version of Moomapper programmed by JernejL, with help from the community at GTAForums.com. A stable version of KEd is available and no more development is expected.

Some users feel the tool was not perfect but it had far greater capabilities than any other tool at the time. A newer tool called "MapEditor" (normally called MEd) is becoming a likely replacement for KEd, particularly as MEd features GTA SA support.

Features and support

KEd supports GTA 3 and GTA VC, allowing the user to create a list of their installs and decide which one to load. The editor supports a large number of file formats, a lot of them from Moomapper.
