Talk:Relationship group
I guess "Relationship groups" and the thing we call "Ped Type" are same? So, would not be better to move this information to the PedType article? Seemann?! 05:20, 10 April 2009 (UTC)
- Oh sorry, Seemann... I haven't read your post here... Yes, I also guess they are the same. In San Andreas they have been defined in the
ped.datfile, but this file seems to be ignored. However the relations can be changed using 0746. - Same for Relationship types... perhaps we could merge those articles into Ped Relations or something like that. --Aschratt 07:58, 10 April 2009 (UTC)
From a programming standpoint, indeed, the relationship groups are the GTA IV equivalent of PedTypes. Old-school modders are actually still probably going to be thinking of them as ped types, whereas folks just getting their feet wet with IV are likely to search for something like "relationships", etc. So, I think the best solution may be to actually add the relationship group data to the PedTypes page, and then just redirect Relationship groups to Ped type. I think that's the most logical organization of the data, and everyone should be able to find it that way. I don't know enough about wiki editing to make it happen though, so any interested party is welcome to do so --chamber
