Model files in the GTA III game trilogy go by the extension .dff. For more information on the file format, see the article about RenderWare binary stream files.
Tools and Scripts
The following tools and scripts can be used to import & export (edit) these model files.
- ZModeler 2 (ideal for beginners to 3D modelling)
- 3DSMax/Gmax import/export
- LightWave export
- Dextool (2dfx export from 3DSMax)
