These files would require an upper level document (that could be extended from the Resource type document). And adding the stuff in this discussion on Resource file headers and the intelligent flagging HERE=> [http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=389108]. It should also have the link for compression methods, list of RSC file formats etc.

This discussion is a key for understanding the dual character of all RSC files. I just recently learned that I'd been exlopring the cpu side which is especially large in WPFL -files, while the exploration in other resource formats is mostly on latter graphics section.

Dageron's RSC manager seems essential tool for efficient working and also contains info for working with decompressed RSCs.
